After a long time we watched the new bond movie Casino Royale and we absolutely loved it. We have been ardent bond fans since for ever. But we were very skeptical about Daniel Craig (hard to follow Pierce Brosnan) and also a lot of reviews said it was missing all the things that made a bond movie unique.
Our review; It was awesome!! Two thumps up, 5 stars..etc.etc
First of all Daniel Craig is fantastic. What a good choice (It is good that they don't listen to fans once in a while). After about 10 mins of the movie, we were like "He is so much better than Pierce Brosnan". Infact the best bond ever!!
Secondly, I am not sure why reviews say it misses all the usual bond stuff
- There is a fantastic Aston Martin. And what a cool way he acquired it :)
- Much better quality of bond one liners
- What cool action scenes - the initial chase, the chase in the car where he has to halt suddenly (how cool was that) etc. etc.
Now we are eagerly awaiting for the next bond.
